Sampler 101



This is an excellent class for anyone who wants to learn to piece quilt tops precisely. 

A series of 9 classes designed for beginners to learn the fundamentals of quilting. We will make 12 classic blocks from which hundreds of quilts can be made! Learn to pick fabric! Discover the joys of 1/4” seams!  

Class 1 will be choosing fabric with Hilary.  Fabric purchased at the shop will be discounted 10%. 

Supply List:
45mm rotary cutter
18” x 24” cutting mat (or larger)
18” x 6” cutting ruler (or longer)
Glass headed pins
4 yards focus fabric
8-10 fat quarters to go with focus.
1 yd sashing fabric
Thread to blend with fabric.
For class #2:
Sewing machine in good order with manual 1/4” ruled graph paper
Colored pencils or crayons or markers Folder or small binder to keep notes and patterns
Some kind of container to keep your project together.
